This is the second set of spy photos of the 2015 Volkswagen Passat that have leaked to the internet. This time both Sedan and Variant version that we can see on these images are with the production ready body.
It is quite obvious that the tests are still in progress and that is the reason why we are getting heavily camouflaged vehicles. We can’t see the final design and what will it offer when it is launched but we do have a pretty good clue about the basic shape and looks.
On these two prototypes we can notice that we will be getting two longer vehicles that will offer slightly longer wheelbase that translates into additional space in cabin. We could also hear that more angular design will be offered with new models.
There are still many details that we do not have about two models of 2015 Volkswagen Passat but it looks like that we will be getting shorter front but the longer rear overhang. On the front this new grille will be more noticeable while on the sides of it we will be getting larger headlights. Looking this vehicle from profile the roofline comes with an quite sloping line.
Review Of New Volkswagen Passat
Interior images have not yet leaked but we are sure that these new models will be offered with slight changes but the most likely it will be just with improved materials that will be used in interior. Among other changes that we expect to see inside we can add additional safety systems and assistance systems for improved driving experience.
We are still waiting for the official information’s about this new car but we will have to wait little longer. There are speculations and rumors that this MQB based vehicle could be offered at the next Frankfurt Motor Show and that it will go on sale shortly after that.
2015 Volkswagen Passat Release Date
Since versions for European and U.S. market are different it will be interesting to see what the differences will be offered for these different markets. No info about price at this moment also but with the usage of MQB platform we could see slight drop in production costs but also in the final price of the vehicle. We do not expect any huge changes in this segment so we predict that the price will remain on pretty much same level.
