Another feature that is not included in the earlier models is Bluetooth capabilities which can be used to connect the vehicle to a wireless device or laptop allowing the driver to make hands-free phone calls while operating the vehicle.
The third row seating and DVD player also make this vehicle great for families or anyone required to make long trips with many people. The new Navigator also includes many new safety features such as emergency braking assistance, engine immobilizer, child seat anchors, four-wheel ABS, and much more. Although many of the previous models include an engine immobilizer, it has been improved upon for the 2015 model.
Rendering Of 2015 Navigator
The engine immobilizer will “immobilize” the engine once the driver has exceeded a certain speed. By far one of the neatest safety features that the new model includes is the emergency braking assistance. The emergency braking assistance system uses sonar to allow the vehicle to automatically stop itself if it is nearing an object without the cognizance of the driver.
The exterior of the 2015 Lincoln Navigator has also received a nice make over. The exterior includes new running boards, doors, trailer hitch, trailer wiring, powered rear lift gate, privacy glass, and a new grill. The new Lincoln Navigator does resemble it’s ancestors, however, it has had quite the make-over and appears distinctly different in many ways.
The doors and the side panels look almost completely different from the previous models’ and the lights appear to be new and improved as well, sporting a toned and glossy appearance. The trailer hitch and wiring comes standard on all 2015 Navigators yet this is not a new feature. Many of the previous models also feature a trailer hitch and wiring standard.
The vehicle includes a powered lift gate much like that of the previous models, however the rear lift gate itself appears very different from that of the previous models. It looks more chic and modern The hood is shaped a bit different as well while the running boards appear to be unchanged. Overall, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator is much improved from its older models and is a great vehicle for anyone.
