The 2015 Infiniti QX60 vs 2015 Audi Q7 is a battle of two continents, Europe and Asia. Both cars are great for what they are intended to do. The Infiniti is the affordable luxury while the Audi is a tad more expensive while offering exactly the same things in terms of comfort and space.
Both cars feature 7 seats, with 2 seats on the third row, both offer great luxury, leather and fully fledged satellite navigation and surround sound system. To determine which one is best we need to take a look at all aspects of these two models. Let’s see what splits them apart.
The 2015 Infiniti QX60’s base model starting price is at around $ 42,000 while the AWD model will be priced about $ 1,500 above base version and will require you to pay about $ 43,500. In this price you get all the luxuries you could think off at least this is for most buyers.
The engine is quite good too but it isn’t as fuel efficient as it could be. The power plant is a 3.5 liter V6 unit with 265 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Also, the car is available as a front wheel drive (that will get you pretty good MPG – 26 on the highway and around 20 while in the city). The all-wheel drive model is more suited to areas where you have snow a longer period of time or when you need to get on road tracks more often. The engine will be gutsy enough to get you out of pretty much anything and it will help you tow loads up to 5000 pounds, but don’t expect something too refined or fuel efficient when you do it!
2015 Infiniti QX60 Vs 2015 Audi Q7
The Audi Q7 is a different car all together. You have multiple engine choices, from the standard 3 liter supercharged V6 petrol engine (that is good for up to 280 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, more than enough for your daily needs) or a beastly 4 liter, twin turbo, V8 petrol engine. This will get you around 450 horsepower and tons of torque. It will allow you to tow anything your heart desires and also, thanks to the Quattro four wheel drive system, the car won’t get stuck no matter what.
The base Q7 starts at $ 47,000 and features all the commodities of a luxury car. Those that want more power and better equipment will need to pay more than $ 60,000. The 3rd row seats are comfortable and the ventilated and heated seats in the front are a nice touch, the sound system is one of the best you can find in a production car today, featuring surround speakers and twin subwoofers. The premium model, with the 4 liter engine and some options will set you back more than $ 70,000 but at this moment not all of these models are available on the market. We know for sure that 3.0 liter turbocharged and 3.0 TDI unit will be available while the S line will come with supercharged 3.0 liter engine.
