In the last few years Buick improved design of their vehicles and with these changes they are attracting more younger buyers. The 2015 Buick Verano is the one of those that will also offer nice changes and improvements interesting to larger number of people.
One of the most interesting things about the 2015 model is that it will be delivered with some sort of eAssist system making it a hybrid and improving the fuel economy. At this moment these are only the plans and we will have to wait slightly longer for official info.
Release Date Of 2015 Verano
Hybrid model in the Verano lineup is not news. Few years ago we have received information that the hybrid model will be delivered in 2013 but this was postponed slightly. New details suggest that hybrid version could be offered before the end of this year as a 2015 model and that it will be launched during 2015th.
Currently not much of the information’s is available about the 2015 Buick Verano and the hybrid model that will be also offered but what we do know about latter is that it might be offered with 2.5 liter four cylinder gasoline engine that will be combined with electric motor. This could be a mild hybrid that offers belt alternator starter eAssist setup.
It was interesting to see that this model has been postponed for this much especially since we were able to see both Regal and LaCrosse models delivered as hybrids. There were no additional information’s that Buick was willing to share but this is not all.
2015 Buick Verano Hybrid
From one of the sources we could hear that few hybrids that should have been delivered by this company are and will be canceled. This is quite interesting since we do know that most of the car makers are pushing their hybrid models to the market. One of the possible explanations is the fact that GM might be getting new technology for their hybrids.
If this is true than we might be getting future hybrid models like 2015 Buick Verano with improved battery or entire hybrid technology. There is no doubt that this would be great and that it would further improve fuel economy of these models.
When it comes to standard model we still do not have spy or leaked images but we think that not many changes will be offered over the 2012 model that was the last redesign. This is simply because Buick managed to decently improve the looks of this vehicle.
