The all new Acura MDX model will feature an aluminum-alloy direct injection v6, 3.5 liter gas engine. A customer could expect 20 city / 28 highway / 23 combined MPG with the front-wheel drive option. With the all-wheel drive, a customer will have 18 city / 27 highway / 21 combined MPG ratings. These results are pretty good and it will be interesting to see and compare with few other models on the market.

Other features include automatic headlamps. The Acura was the first to introduce third-row seating and will continue to offer it in the 2015 model of the MDX.
